About Me

Hi!

I'm Erin.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

I've loved creative projects since I was young.  I graduated from Notre Dame in 2008 with a B.A. in philosophy and English and the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014 with a Master's in occupational therapy.  I work as an OT in Richmond, Virginia, and make time for art whenever I can!  I occasionally stock Richmond scene notecards at a few locales (Mongrel, Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, Stella's Grocery).

"Thin places" refers to a Celtic spirituality of particular places that are gateways to the sacred.  The title is a nod to my Irish roots and and thin art canvases.  My signature frequently includes AMDG which stands for "Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam," the Jesuit motto that means "for the greater glory of God."

I'm always eager for new commissions, and I'd love to hear from you!  Feel free to drop me a line at ebuckle1@gmail.com  :)

Peace,
Erin
