For no reason has landed on your shoulder

Monument Avenue this week = Art.  To continue this weekend's posting theme of Beautiful Things that are Not Art I Made.
This corner is the picture of spring

Thank you God that I do not have allergies.

This is what I would like to do all day, too.

I was thinking, if someone saw me outside her window taking a quick picture, she might feel a little put-off, protective/invaded, wondering who is that.  If I were sitting down painting a picture of her front yard, she would probably be delighted.  I guess it's the time I spend looking at something that makes me a creep vs. a welcome guest.

“He who knows nothing, loves nothing. He who can do nothing understands nothing. He who understands nothing is worthless. But he who understands also loves, notices, sees … The more knowledge is inherent in a thing, the greater the love.… Anyone who imagines that all fruits ripen at the same time as the strawberries knows nothing about grapes.”

― Paracelsus

This front yard catches my eye driving to/from work because it is PURPLE.

sort of creeping but I really like your front door color

...You've been fearful of being absorbed in the ground,
or drawn up by the air.
Now, your waterbed lets go and drops into the ocean, where it came from.
It no longer has the form it had,
but it's still water.  The essence is the same.
This giving up is not a repenting.  It's a deep honoring of yourself.  When the ocean comes to you as a lover, marry at once, quickly, for God's sake!
Don't postpone it!
Existence has no better gift.
No amount of searching will find this.
A perfect falcon, for no reason has landed on your shoulder,
and become yours.

Yes, I will Respect Your Lawn because it is PURPLE.
